Rain has accompanied our days in Positano for a week.
Finally today the wind has blown away the clouds and the typical air of January, cold and bitter, has given us a divine sunset.
This is one of the peculiarities of Positano: you never know what the nature gives you and the country becomes wonderful in all its aspects.
I conclude with a quote from John Steinbeck, taken from an article published on the Harpe’s Bazaar in 1953:
“Positano bites deep. It is a dream place that isn’t quite real when you are there and becomes beckoningly real after you have gone”.
